Having learned the game here in Oman, I’ve represented MRFC’s men’s team for seven years, including serving as captain. With our experienced committee, I hope to share my passion for a club where friendships are forged and the love for rugby brings us together. Coaching since 2005 across 7s and 15s, with experience in South Africa and Zambia, including developing school coaching fundamentals and injury prevention programs.

Hi, I’m Shelly, I’ve stepped up this season because I’m passionate about pushing our club forward, to me that means putting women’s rugby front and centre. This year, I want to put serious focus on our training and our socials because what’s rugby without a good laugh. We’re fun, we’re friendly, and we’re ready to absolutely smash it this season.

I joined MRFC in 2024 after moving to Oman from Australia. I had never played or even watched a game of rugby before in my life and yet somehow got roped in to playing full contact with the ladies. I like the social aspect of the club and am keen to be involved with it.

Hey I’m Bea, honestly I didn’t choose this job it was just delegated to me by my sister, but Moody is kinda funny so I decided to stick around. If we ever go viral it will probably be because of me, or because one of the 30yr old millennials I work with accidentally used Gen-Z slang correctly.

Hi. I’m Ellie. Just moved back to Muscat and I’m a teacher at BSM. Don’t know much about rugby other than watching my brother break his ankles repeatedly at the sport. Want to volunteer my time at the club and help build its social media.

I'm Hayley, a lifelong sports enthusiast who once swore I'd never play contact rugby — but here we are! Seven years, several tournaments, and just a few (very minor) injuries later, I'm proud to play for the MRFC Women’s team and to be leading our Sponsorship and Affiliates Programme this season.
